For the price it is not a bad couch. I purchased this for my basement, where mostly children be playing and it is pretty comfy. I did not like the throw pillows it came with but that was no big deal, I just went to HomeGoods and purchased what I liked instead.

I see the overall length of the ottoman, but need to know specifically what the length is on the left side

Not sure what measurement you would need to know. The size of the ottoman is 38 by 26 and you can place it anywhere you want. Thanks.
