Its an ok item to sit on in front of TV. You sink in eventually and there's much support but its ok to lie on . It does its job for one night stays when people are visiting but you have to put extra blankets to soften the hinges on the couch. Also, the cover slips down when you sit on it, stretching rubber loops that hold it together in the first place. Would say its an ok piece for a student apartment though

As a couch, its of average comfort. But as a sleeper its pretty bad. You can feel a piece of the metal hinge in the middle of the sleeper that prevents you from enjoying the full surface area of it. It also is of cheap build in general. The armrests are connected via Velcro and some wooden buttons that loosen with long term use, making the sofa feel and look cheap
