I owned this bed for over a year and is still very sturdy and modern. This same bed can be purchased at Ikea but the quality of the wood and the construction is incomparable. Only thing with the dresser mirror is that it is short (may be 5' when attached to the dresser itself) and should be wall mounted. We attached it to the dresser and I should bend on my knees to see my face in the mirror (I'm 5'4''). Other than that this is a great purchase

Looking much better in real life than on the pictures. Bed is pretty much extreme low-profile, so if you don't like it better to take a look into something else. We love it.

Tthe color is a very dark brown, almost black. I like the simple yet elegant design. Appears to be well constructed. I did not rate it excellent because it isn't solid wood (not necessarily a bad thing), but in my opinion only solid wood items would get an excellent from me. I am pleased with the set and wood gladly recommend it to anyone.
