I'm interested in the Queen size bed in this model. I like the look of the bed a lot. However, the type of high gloss and in some pictures of this model gives it a plastic look. I just want to know what kind of look it provides.

I'm interested in the king size bed for this model. The base doesn't seem very wide though. I would like to know if it is wide/heavy enough to support weight when sleeping / sitting on the sides of the bed. From the picture, it almost looks like it would.
