Are the back cushions attached or removable? Also, how tall is the back of the sofa without the cushions?

Is this couch firm or more plush

That's highly subjective, but this couch is to harder side due to smaller cushions: it has a storage under chaise + pull-out sleeper portion. Thanks.

Hiw many pieces is this sofa? Trying to figure out if it will fit through a narrow hallway and doorway
